Sometimes things don't quite go to plan. And sometimes it doesn't really matter because what comes out of it is actually pretty cool. My original plan was to go to an exhibition opening which was part of the Brighton Fringe. However, things went a a bit belly-up (don't ask) and I ended up going for a wander round North Laine instead. This is when one of the side street with all the graffiti caught my eye.
When I see great graffiti like this, I find myself being slightly torn between being really impressed by the technique and the art (and I do believe it's an art form), and the fact that the subject isn't necessarily quite my thing. As a whole though, I find it very interesting and inspirational and wouldn't mind having a big canvas with one of these "paintings" (I would actually rather like the one in the third picture) hanging at home. A big white wall, some natural wood furniture and a graffiti painting for interest - yes, that'd be pretty cool, don't you think?
