Brunch is unfortunately not a meal I get to enjoy very often. Most of my days start way too early and that means that I'm hungry before a time that could be considered appropriate for brunch. So, when Alpro invited us to Brunch in Gent, it was a nice opportunity to chill a bit, have a chat and enjoy a drawn out meal consisting of more than my usual coffee and quickly put together breakfast.
So, brunch was held back at M with a View, the same place where we had our fabulous dinner the evening before. That great place right on top of an old warehouse with the views over Gent and the unusual outside lift. It was fun to see it all again in - literally - a different light. The bright blue sky from the evening before had been replaced by a slightly greyer one, but it seemed to fit the surroundings quite well.
Brunch was of course full of fab treats. Various bread rolls, mini croissants and pains au chocolat, fruit, the best jams ever and of course a whole host of Alpro treats like their oat drink and yogurt alternatives. Add some coffee and champagne and I was one very happy bruncher (I think I just made that word up) and set up for the rest of the day. Maybe these images will inspire you to enjoy a drawn out brunch over the weekend?
