Week's snapshots...

Yes, it's Friday, the sun is out, we have a three-day weekend to look forward to here in the UK and I'm off to Brighton this afternoon. Before I go though, I thought I'd share just some of this week's little snapshots. Just some things that made me smile or I liked.

The cherry tree in our garden is in full bloom. I could spend all day standing under that tree staring at it and I wish it could look like this forever...

As usual, I'm tirelessly rearranging and changing things around here and this time I've used a clipboard I found last weekend to hang up some of my favourite images and replacing an actual picture frame.

I received some fresh Lily of the Valley (Muguet) from Monsieur's mum's garden - everything seems to come out so l late this year, but I'm really happy to have these on my table now - don't they look just beautiful?

I received a fabulous orchid from Liz Earle Beauty and decided to put it on my bedside table - it fits perfectly there and gives the bedroom a natural and feminine touch without being too frou-frou.

Ah yes, I have glasses! Reading glasses no less - eeek! I went to the optician last week because I wondered whether the writing on tins and instructions had become smaller and found out that it was actually down to my eyes. Looking on the bright side though, I look mighty intelligent when I'm reading now and it's rather nice not to have to hold things at arm's length...

That's it. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend filled with sunshine, flowers, adventures and laughter.
