Three sandwiches...

Somehow I seem have ended up doing a lot of food posts. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I love food, I happily potter about in my kitchen, try to come up with fun and tasty ways to make food interesting and I actually love photographing it. It's just that I never set out to be a "food blogger" whatever that might mean. I like to blog about all the small things that make life beautiful, interiors, flowers, visits to interesting places and yes, food. Maybe it's because food is something I deal with on a daily basis (as we all do) and where I can bring some of my styling skills to the table - literally - whilst simultaneously feeding my family. Combining all these things might not make me a food blogger per se, but it certainly fits into the lifestyle category… Anyway, this time I've put together three different sandwiches which might serve nicely as a summer picnic inspiration. As with most things, I believe that simple is often better. There's no need to overcomplicate food (or life in general) and sometimes the most basic ingredients can turn into a fun and fab meal. Just add good company! If you'd like to see two more favourite sandwich creations like this one, then click here where you'll find my internationally inspired versions.
