Summer Garden...

There are moments when work and relaxation seem to seamlessly flow into each other and happily co-exist. It might sound strange, since as a whole work is generally not associated with relaxation, but on this occasion it couldn't have been more perfect.

Summer Garden

I had to shoot a post for the AO blog and needed a garden that looked more inviting than my own. Now, admittedly, pretty much any garden looks more inviting than my own, but as I don't have permission to set everything up in a stranger's garden, I opted for the safer option of Monsieur's mum's beautiful green space. It was mostly quiet apart from some birds singing and a couple of children next door having fun with a water hose. I set about my work with the help of the sun that made everything look just right. After I had enough images, I just sat down  on the grass, had a cold drink and simply looked around. Just a moment of quietness surrounded by slowly fading flowers and warm sunlight. No heavy thoughts, no worrying, not much thinking at all in fact. Just being in that moment as it presented itself. A perfect moment for the longest day of the year…
