Small moments...

I often wonder whether I need a profound or at least a valid reason to write a blog post. You know, something "worthy" of sharing, a recipe, some interesting news, that kind of stuff. I wonder if what I'm writing is at all interesting and worth reading. I mean, there is so much information around us, so many interesting and beautiful blogs, so many websites, that it feels like we have to turn into something akin of a town crier to draw attention to our content. And once we have somebody's attention, are we giving that person, the reader, something valuable to make it worth their time?

Camomile Tea

I've always been better with images than with words and very often grab my camera when I'm doing something as ordinary as having a cup of tea. I might be looking for inspiration for a project, I might be reminiscing about the past month (these images were taken on the 31st January), or I might simply be faffing a bit. I like to capture those moments and things because I like a composition, because it might come in handy at some later point or because I want to keep a record of that small moment and the thoughts I was thinking at that time. Just like a scent, an image can trigger the memory of how I felt in that moment. I read words and tend to forget them, I see an image and it can stay with me forever. So, all I'm doing here really is sharing some images of a small moment of reflection. There's no lesson, no big ramblings, no recipe. The only value I can offer are some images which you might like. Sometimes, maybe that's enough. There's probably a reason for the saying "a picture is worth a thousand words"...
