Scent my home...

If you're feeling the January pinch (no, not your jeans, your wallet), but still like to surround yourself with lovely things and smells, then this might be of interest to you. Experience (some of it pretty bad) with scented candles has taught me to stick with the good quality ones and Diptyque (I love Muguet) is always top of my list. The comforting smell of a lovely candle on a bleak January evening can help me relax and unwind after a long working day. The scents I tend to choose are flowery, fresh and sometimes slightly powdery, they're light and remind me of spring, a light breeze and warm rays of sunshine. All this does of course right now seem so far away...

This candle brings a little of that feeling that reminds me of the time of the year when I can throw open all windows and let in some much needed fresh air. Not only is it a fresh scent which I really love, but the fact that it's fabulously priced and the packaging is beautifully simple is a lovely bonus. Compared to some of the pricier candles, this one is a bargain which can be useful whilst trying to save my pennies for some bigger purchases...
