Red and green...

Saturday evening dinners are quite often the "I really cannot be bothered to cook" ones and have to be quick, easy, not too unhealthy and - you guessed it - involve no cooking. This is even more the case during the spring and summer months (I still tend to cook something warm and filling in winter) and I love the way a plate of pita bread, some hummus and fresh tomatoes is very relaxed, easy going and fun to share.

For some reason, this time the colours made me want to pick up my camera and take some shots. Bright red tomatoes on green vines, bursting with freshness and contrasting beautifully with the plates and bowls. It wasn'' the food really that inspired this post, after all there's no recipe to share, but it was the bright red and green that caught my eye and the beauty in its simplicity...
