Photo shoot...

Good morning people and happy Friday! Yes, the weekend is upon us and I cannot tell you how much I'm looking forward to a little rest. The last few days have been manic here and I've been juggling my day job (with some of the most enormous and long-winded spreadsheets) and some exciting projects. This also explains my online absence...

So, apart from work, I spent a couple of days cleaning my home from top to bottom, hunting down every last bit of dust, scrubbing surfaces, ironing bedlinen, hunting for more dust and generally behaving like Bree from Desperate Housewives (in other words, a crazed housewife with OCD) which isn't pretty. All because I had a photo shoot in my home yesterday! Don't get me wrong, I do usually clean my home, but I generally tend to draw the line at ironing bedlinen - life's just too short for that.

Anyway, yes, I had another fab and exciting photo shoot in my home yesterday. Stylist Joanna Thornhill and photographer Emma Mitchell spent the whole day here taking pictures for a big, but still top-secret project. Apart from the occasional bit of furniture that needed to be moved just to get a specific angle for a picture, there luckily wasn't much styling to do (though I was happy about the macarons and raspberries Jo had bought along) which is obviously a huge compliment. I spent a lot of time gawping at the fabulous photo equipment and looking over their shoulder. We had a chat over lunch, lots of tea and coffee whilst shooting and just a great and very busy day. Jo and Emma were great to have here and so friendly that I completely forgot to re-check for any dust..........
