Copper hanging planter...

As it's Friday and as the weekend stretches ahead of us, I thought a little diy project might be just the right thing. Of course I wouldn't advocate staying in all weekend "making stuff" if the sun is shining and there's time to be spent with a picnic in a park or on a beach. However, since it's been rather grey again in London lately, this might be a nice way to while a little time away…

I've made this hanging planter a little while back and thought I'd share it with you. The colour of copper looks great against the green of any plants and the simple string provides a great contrast to the shiny bowl. Since making this, I have changed the plants and put a nice 'low maintenance' succulent in which is now happily hanging in front of my window. It would of course look equally great in from of a really dark wall… Anyway, if you would like to make your own hanging planter, hop over here where you'll find my little tutorial. Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
