Copper and blush pink...

I'm not necessarily the most fashionable person you will ever encounter. I'm generally very much aware of what is happening (I have to be) and know of current trends, but that doesn't mean that I have to go with each and every single one of them. On the other hand, it would be something of a lie if I claimed not to be influenced by trends at all. Of course I am.

Colour combinations are of course one of the areas heavily influenced by trends and I have found one I really love. No, I'm not going to pretend that I came up with that one completely on my own though soft, blush pink has been one of my favourites for as long as I can think (it's the little girl in me) and with copper (which hadn't really been on my radar until it came back "into fashion") it's a very current look. However, the idea of these napkin rings is completely my own. I wanted to mix pink and copper (the colour) and something pretty, flowery with a more industrial material. That's how came up with these napkin rings made from copper wire and fabric cherry blossoms. I really like the delicate and light look they have and how beautifully they contrast against black, grey or white napkins. If you like them, then click here to find out how I made them.
