Is there anything better than wandering around a town, enjoying the sunshine, checking out a food festival, and stopping for a coffee break whenever we feel like it? No thoughts wasted on work or the week ahead, just taking in what's on offer and everything there is to see. Bliss, right?
Well, I was lucky enough to be able to do just that when I was in Brighton. This being my last post on that weekend, I thought I'd share some pics of the things I particularly liked. As I was "sent" there by Alpro, one of my tasks was to sample as many Alpro Lattes or "Alproccinos" as possible - I know, it's a tough life - and to post some (hopefully) funny pics on Twitter. If you really wanted to, you could try and search for one of me with a Latte-moustache which Monsieur kindly took ;-)
Anyway, one of the places I felt very much at home in was Tic Toc Café - it did admittedly help that they were giving out free Alpro Lattes to people working with Alpro. Still, I immediately took to the quirky interiors which had so many fun and colourful details and a retro feel. I don't think I'll ever look at Lego in the same way again... On Sunday morning, when the sun had come out, the big doors to the side had been thrown open to let in the sunshine and a mild breeze. I managed to secure a seat at a little table right next to the open doors which meant sipping my coffee and watching people walk by was the perfect break from the crowds...
