7 smoothie ideas (part two)...

After a relatively healthy week which saw me making and drinking smoothies with Alpro Almond milk, I can now show you three more favourites. If you've missed the first four, you can check them out here. Some fresh fruit and veg seems to be even more important than usual now that the weather is so dreadfully grey, cold and wet. I've been battling on and off with a cold over the past couple of weeks and apart from consuming vast amounts of hot lemon with honey and ginger, I haven't really felt too hungry, which is rather strange for me. When I do feel hungry, I can't decide what it is I want. This has, coincidentally, resulted in me consuming quite a few smoothies which isn't a bad thing, right? So, here are another three. They're all slightly sweet without being overpowering, deliver vitamins and fibre, and taste - if I may say so myself - really good. Wishing you all a lovely weekend. 

AlproAM smoothie

1 fresh mango, 1/2 cup carrot juice, 1 cup (250ml) Alpro Almond milk, 1 level tbsp psyllium husk.

AlproAM smoothie

2-3 small beetroots, 1 banana, 1 cup (250ml) Alpro Almond milk, 1 tbsp honey.

AlproAM smoothie

2 cups of fresh spinach leaves, 1 banana, 2 medium pears, 1 cup (250ml) Alpro Almond milk.
